If you’ve seen the before and after pictures of our home in Southampton you know how special Island East is. We interviewed several builders, none shared our sense of passion for making a beautiful home while preserving the special nature of the original building. My Dad built it, and is still alive, and we didn’t have the heart to tear it down. Turns out the original cottage became a perfect master bedroom suite within the major renovation.
Paul and Erik helped us make critical decisions along the way. They are dedicated professionals who won’t settle for poor quality or easy solutions that compromise the overall integrity of the job. We found them to be accessible, on time and on budget despite having us as clients who were several hundred miles away. They respected Nancy’s need for a clean worksite during our weekend visits. And, their attention to all the details of the job was evident throughout construction and even now. We still find small details they executed that we didn’t notice initially.
